My Bio

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, specializing in multi-scale, in situ structural microbiology. Our research primarily focuses on revealing the molecular mechanisms of microbial adhesion in both pathogenic and environmental microbes. Our research aims to address two critical global challenges: antimicrobial drug resistance and climate change. Before joining McGill, I was a post-doctoral researcher at Yale University and the Eindhoven University of Technology, following my PhD at Queen’s University.
